Peekaboo Birthday Card

A gorgeous 30th birthday card for my best friend, I recently made one of these for my Mom’s 60th and formed part of the July Pootler’s Birthday Blog Hop, I loved it so much and had some many requested for a tutorial I made another one.a

Just want to say thank you to Jan Brown and Jill Chapman as both of their work inspired this card.

Dimensions & Scoring

Co-coordinating numbers from each section work together, all the 1’s stick together etc. Hope the below makes sense, please message me if you have any queries

Blushing Bride – you will need four pieces of this colour cardstock, three for the card base and one to cut out your three circle surrounds (circle 2 1/8″ and scalloped circle 2 3/8″).

1 – 8 1/2″ x 5 1/2″ – score on the long side at 4 1/4″

2 – 8 1/4″ x 5 1/2″ – score on the long side at 2 3/4″

3 –  5 3/4″ x 5 1/2″ – score on the long side at 1/4″

Very Vanilla – you will need three pieces of this colour cardstock

1 – 4 1/8″ x 5 3/8″

2 – 2 5/8″ x 5 3/8″

3 – 5 3/8″ x 5 3/8″

DSP – you will need two pieces of this Bundle of Love DSP

1 –  4 1/8″ x 5 3/8″

2 – 5 3/8″ x 5 3/8″

Happy – Very Vanilla cardstock stamped using the flowers from the Happy Birthday Gorgeous stamp set and leaves from the Number of Years stamp set. Tempting Turquoise, Soft Sky, Flirty Flamingo, Powder Pink and Pear Pizzazz inks were used. the Letter H, A, P, P, Y were then die cut out using the Large Letter Framelits and stuck to the card using Mini Dimensionals.

30th – Dazzling Diamonds Glimmer Paper die cut using the Large Number Framelits. the ‘th’ was stamped using Black Memento ink and die cut using the small flag from the same set.  Stuck to the card using Mini Dimensionals.
